When I began selling the Faithful Institute last month, I had my own plans for the Institute.

The Holy Spirit has convicted me since I began selling it around Somatic Experiencing which was my primary mode of training. Click here to read the story of how I left that behind a few weeks ago after the Lord showed me some things about the Founder of SE.

I have had to repent to the Lord around this .

Another thing I felt led to do before I shared the story of leaving Somatic Experiencing behind, was to change the price from 7,500 to 3,000 and I shared that with my community as well (which ended up being confirmation for one of the students to sign up)!

And I have been feeling more and more to yield this program to the Spirit completely.

That has felt scary, and like a true leap of faith for me as God reveals the layers of my heart that I still held back.

WINTER IS COMING! Some things I do for health and to protect my nervous system.

Winter is Coming!


I live in Canada - that means winter is COMING! Freezing cold days, less time outside and more hours of darkness mean that there are some things that I do to keep my health and nervous system functioning optimally in the winter season.

This winter I am extra mindful as I have a weight loss goal to focus on and maintain.  If my nervous system spends too much time in the freeze response I will lose any and all progress as I go back to maintenance mode! PLUS  we will be doing some travelling this winter - flying, long drives and being out of the environment that is set up for my success. 

 

So I want to be intentional (NOT perfectionistic) about keeping myself in my window of tolerance or as close to it as humanly possible. Remember that in the window of tolerance EVERYTHING in the  body functions optimally, not just mood. That means digestion, cellular health, hormone health, thyroid health, brain health etc.

WTF is Nervous System Capacity? Read and find out.

WTF IS NERVOUS SYSTEM CAPACITY?!?! 

What you can mentally push yourself to do is not necessarily what your nervous system has the capacity for.

And... what your clients can mentally push themselves to do is not necessarily what they have the capacity for.

What did you feel when you read those statements? Did they feel resonant, like an ah-ha moment?
